I immediately subjected the running socks to an endurance test (the ÖM half marathon in Linz) and made the best experiences possible. I had only worn the socks once beforehand, and used a new running shoe. My speed was pretty good at 1.17 hours. At the finishing line, I had neither blisters nor any other complaints caused by the socks. No pressure marks, no reddening…
I have now tried out the knee-length socks several times during training, and established that they offer good, agreeable support, especially for the calf musculature.
As a performance-oriented runner of mature years, more and more varicose veins appear on the surface of the skin and, accordingly, the knee-length socks offer essential, good support for the tissue.
I must say that I was also very pleasantly surprised by the underwear. Firstly since, in my opinion, the garments dry quicker/stay dry longer than other products I am familiar with and, secondly, since odour following exercise is much less evident (this is always a major topic with today’s functional textiles).
I am very convinced by the products from X-Action, and can recommend them in good conscience.
I wish great success for these products. They will take the world of sports by storm.
